nursing cover- made from a skirt

A couple years ago, I found this skirt at an end-of-summer clearance sale for about $3. The problem was I never wore it. So a few weeks ago when I was purging through clothes in my closet, I decided that instead of getting rid of it, I was going to use the fabric for something.

So I turned it into a nursing cover. I think it turned out pretty darn CUTE! It's funny that I wouldn't be able to buy fabric & make it for less. Fabric can get pricey!

I made a fabric yo-yo flower to add to the top. I decided to just use a piece of white elastic for the top.

I was going to take step-by-step pictures and do a tutorial, but it was a pretty easy and straight forward project, so I didn't bother. The nice part is that the fabric is really light-weight so it's perfect for summer!
