things I like thursday- Canada Day Ideas

In just over a month, it will be Canada Day!

Since blog-land is overflowing with ideas to celebrate the US holidays (Memorial Day & the 4th of July), I'm going to share some red & white, maple leaf-inspired ideas to make when we celebrate being Canadian on July 1st....cause being Canadian is pretty great!

Happy Thursday! Here are 5 things I liked in blog-land this week.......

Napkin turned Book Cover by Occasionally Crafty. I need to do this for my scriptures & I also have a triple combination set, so I can use her measurements as well- score! I love the designs of the napkins she found at Target. I am excited that Target is coming to Canada soon, especially since one of the locations will be just a few blocks away from my house :)

This Love 8x10 Printable from Persnickety Prints was for Valentine's Day, but the cute colours makes this perfect to frame & have up year round. I am loving the yellow & grey!

This Chalkboard Table and Chairs Set was another amazing transformation by the girls at Lolly Jane! What's not to love?!! The colours are awesome, I love the numbers on the back, the stripes on the seats, and of course the chalkboard top! Perfection.

This Washi Tape & Card Set from Southern Scraps is such a simple & cute idea to adapt to dress up a plain gift bag. And it's fun to have the coordinating card as well!

These Princess Party Crowns from We Talk of Christ, We Rejoice in Christ are just prefect for any little girl's party! I pinned these for future considerations since my daughter who just turned 2 is all about princesses now!

Happy Thursday! I love being inspired by blogs and here are my 5 fave things I came across this week----

Living Room on a Budget from Lolly Jane. Simply gorgeous. I want this living room, it is so pretty!

Bowling Party from Vixen Made. Another cute party from this blog that is fast becoming one of my favourites!

Games to Play in the Car by The Activity Mom. I am always happy to get some new ideas of how to keep my kids happy (and quiet!) in the car & her post gave me some new ideas.

This Outdoor Table Makeover from Crap I've Made is just stunning. I pinned this for inspiration for one day when I have a bigger yard!

It Works for Bobbi makes up cute printables & I love this Stand Out Quote from Dr. Seuss. Well I like pretty much EVERY quote by Dr. Seuss! ;)

Vixen Made made up the most awesome Medical-themed party. Seriously, everything is just perfect for the theme!

Sassy Sites shared a Young Women's lesson idea about Peeps and Self-Reliance. So fun when teachers go the extra mile to make a lesson memorable!

Moose Mouse Creations gets the "mom of the year" award for this Lego Birthday Cake. Just amazing!
