I'm going to be sharing some Canada Day crafts with you this week!
Today I'll show you how I made this Canada Day block...
Here are my supplies:
-wood block, mine measured 5 x 5 3/4 "
-white paint {I had already painted my block beforehand}
-printable from: Kiki Creates
-Mod Podge
-foam brush
-paper trimmer to trim the printable
-distrssing ink {I used the Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Old Paper}
-ribbon
I trimmed a bit off my photo so it would fit on the block.
Then I used the ink to distress around the print.
Next I used Mod Podge to add it onto the block.
Then I distressed around the edges of the block...
A close up of the distressing...
It would have been fine to leave just like this:
But I added a red & white ribbon to finish it off......
It was super simple to make, but I love it!!
