Anyways, I found a cute miniature wood art canvas at the dollar store a couple months ago for $1.00. So I painted the wood part of the canvas pink, then added on a picture of my daughter from back in November. I used a sketch action in a photo program to make it look like an artist sketch...

Here are the supplies I used. (Because the photo wasn't as wide as my canvas, I decided to use a little grey paint on the canvas before adding my photo with Mod Podge.)

I love the personal touch this adds. I will probably put it near the doll cradle in the house.You could easily add a regular photo, some patterned scrapbook paper, or just about anything on the canvas!!
You can see all the wood trim and yellow walls that I have yet to make-over in this doll house. It's about 20 years old and it survived me and my 2 younger sisters. I have big plans for it!!

That's such a tiny little easel! How cool that your daughter get's to play with the same play house you did?! I never would have thought to remodel it. Can't wait to see the rest!
