black, white, and PINK pillow

After packing away all our Christmas decorations earlier this week, my house was feeling pretty bare. Especially the living room! So I decided to whip up this little throw pillow for the sofa...

I love this black and white polka dot fabric I found as a remnant piece at the fabric store. Finding cute remnant fabric makes me extra happy because it's dirt cheap and hard to find!
I made the twisted pink rosettes using some bright pink scrap fabric (see this tutorial). I thought they made it a bit more girly and fun!

And if I want a different look, I can turn the pillow around and have the other side showing...

By the way, I recently updated the "top 10 posts" tab located at the top of this blog. It has the new list of the 10 most visited projects I have shared. Go on and check it out!! :)

  2. Like the double sided look of it! Boy do I need to get some energy back so I can make stuff for my baby girl. Your pillow reminds me of the colors I want for her room: hot pink, lime green and black.
