Over the weekend I tried out this idea I saw on Pinterest a while back.
All you do is make up a box of cake mix according to the directions.
Then instead of baking it in the oven, you cook it in the waffle iron, just as you would cook waffles!
After each pair cooked in the waffle iron, I set them on cooling racks until they were completely cooled, then set them all together on a platter.
I had ice cream, cool whip, icing sugar & strawberries, raspberries, bananas, and crushed pineapple to top them with!
They turned out really yummy & I highly recommend trying this idea!
It's a perfect treat for Valentine's Day!!

ReplyDeletewhat a great idea, I tried it once with brownie mix, and well lets say I was cleaning that waffle iron for hours! This sounds like a much better option.
