For today's scrapbook Saturday I'm going to share some pages from my kids' baby scrapbooks. I went through and picked out some faves....
Both of their albums start with a page with their ultrasound pictures. (I had 3 ultrasounds for each pregnancy, so that was a fun way to quickly document that and to include their "first photo".)
In my sons album, I added a few photos together using a large brad, this allowed me to include a bunch of extra "hidden photos" plus some journalling on the page.
I love this page of my son with a Heidi Swapp clock overlay. The overlay was about $3, but soooo worth it to perfectly capture my feelings as I added this photo to his album: just how precious the moments with a newborn babay are & just how FAST the time flies by!
My son laying on my lap. He is so tiny next to my hands. (It's nice having some photos that give a good reference for the baby's size.)
In my daughter's album I had to make a page to document how excited my son was for his sister to come home & how he set up a couple chairs beside her car seat, all in a row. That is priceless and such a precious moment to remember.
The first photos showing me as a mother of 2! I was just totally over-the-moon happy to have our daughter born safely and to have my precious little boy come & meet his new sister.
Just a simple page in my son's book. I love patterned paper, but sometimes just a strip is enough to do that whole "less is more" concept :)
Another way to include a bunch of photos from a single day or event- a photo collage!
I enjoyed my trip down memory lane, seeing my kids' baby pictures and remembering those amazing moments with a new baby.
Hopefully one of those pages gave you an idea for documenting your own child's baby pictures! Have a great weekend!!
Oh man.. I wish I had the discipline to finish my first child's scrapbook.. Sadly (and I can't believe Im admitting to this) I didn't make it past the maternity photos that documented my growing belly...whoops.
ReplyDeleteI really like your pages! They are all great my fav is the hidden photos.
ReplyDeleteAwe! I like the last one with the 6 small square pictures. Very nicely put together! Lisa
