I am always trying to improve the organization systems in our home. Life changes quickly and it is easy to out-grow or want to improve a system of organizing.
My son has a birthday near Christmas. So after December is over, I feel the need to improve toy storage in his room, to make things more efficient.
Last December I bought 4 blue storage bins from Ikea for $1.99 each. I have since bought 4 red ones to add to the mix....
Because the bins are up so high, I knew I needed to add labels so it was possible to know what was in each bin and not have to bring a bunch down in order to find something.
I made up these labels & just added them to my photo order at Walmart. I then cut then down so they were square, then added then onto the bins.
I am so happy with the result. I also have the option of switching the labels as needed.
I was toying with the idea of labeling the smaller green bins in his closet, too. But I think they're fine as they are, because it's possible to see the contents.
Here's the printable I made. If you want to make your own, just click on the photo below to enlarge it, then save it to your computer. Then your can add on your text & print them off.
Happy organizing!! :)
