..................................................................................................

Here's a really neat way to display your photos....... make a photo cube using cd cases!!

I had made one of using some of my son's baby pictures a couple years ago and decided it was time to make one of my daughter, too!

You just need: 4 cd cases (the regular ones, not the slim ones), some scrapbook paper and embellishments to make the pages (plus glue and paper cutter and any other scrapbook tools you use!)......

The dimensions that your four pages will need to be are:
4 5/8" x 5 3/4"(score each page at 5 1/2")

You'll also need your photos! I made the 4 I selected into black and white pictures. Then I cut them to size, rounded the corners, then used a sanding block on the edges to distress them just a bit.

Carefully take apart your cd cases. The part that holds the cd (pictured at the bottom) you won't need for your photo cube.

Re-assemble your cases the opposite way that they should be, as pictured below....

Then slip in each page as you assemble your cube. The sides should snap all together as you go. (Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of this step!!) If any of the corners aren't staying together well, you can discreetly add a small piece of clear tape to give it some more stability.

Then enjoy looking at your photos in your totally cool photo cube!

On each cube I made, I decided to add some thicker embellishments to the outside on one side of the cube. In the case of this one for my daughter, I added a chipboard word and some pearls with adhesive backing. As long as my kids don't try and rip these things off, it's a good idea.... {wink!}

Happy crafting!
